Boris Johnson, the former British Secretary has made his intentions to run as Conservative Party leader known to the British Insurance Broker’s Association earlier today.
In his words, he says “I’m going to go for it, but there is no vacancy at present”
This comes at a time when Theresa May is under increasing pressure to tender her resignation as British Prime Minister.
Johnson had clearly opposed Theresa May’s Brexit deal and won a lot of support within the Conservative Party Members and this reflected during the last grassroots website polls as Johnson emerged the most popular leadership candidate of all.
