Mbozi Hiambe, writer of “Madam’s Sister” has won the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and will be the second Zambian to receive the Prize.
Hiambe, a social worker by profession was born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia. Sheexpressed her unexpected surprise at the win and attested that she always considered herself a writer and feels privileged to contribute to Africa’s literary landscape.
A graduate of Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge, Mbozi is currently working on a collection of short stories
