Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, is keen on a reunion with Bournemouth winger Jordan Ibe, according to a report published by The Sun.
The 23-year-old has made 19 Premier League appearances for the Cherries this season, scoring one goal and recorded one assist.
Reported Leicester target Ibe has one more season left on his current deal at the Vitality Stadium and he may consider leaving Bournemouth for the right offer.
The Cherries may be forced to sell the player this season if he wants to leave or they may risk losing him on a free transfer during the summer of 2020.
Leicester are likely to offer Rodgers a big transfer budget to work with this summer. The Foxes have been inconsistent this season and will need to bring in new quality signings in upcoming months if they want to challenge for European football next season.
Leicester are seemingly set to lose Youri Tielemans, who will return back to parent club Monaco this summer and so will need to bring in quality talent in midfield.
Ibe and Rodgers previously worked together at Liverpool. The 23-year-old was establishing himself within the Reds first-team towards the end of Rodgers spell as manager but he ended up being deemed surplus to requirements following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
At 23-years-old, Ibe is still very young. He will be hoping to play more regular football next season and so a move away from the Vitality Stadium could just be tempting. This is a player that could add a lot of value to Rodgers’ Leicester side going forward.
