Brighton are interested in appointing Swansea manager Graham Potter as Chris Hughton’s successor.
The Seagulls technical director Dan Ashworth is thought to have been watching Potter’s Swansea in recent months and has been impressed with the style of play he has implemented at the Liberty Stadium.
Potter is understood to be among two or three candidates the club are discussing after sacking Hughton on Monday morning, after they finished fourth-bottom of the Premier League on 36 points.
