American actor Chadwick Boseman, popularly known as T’chala in Black Panther is set to break yet another record, in a new movie titled Yasuke, as the first black samurai on the big screen.
Doug Miro, scriptwriter and creator of Narcos set the plot of his new movie on Japan during the 16th-century era, which gives an account of what Yasuke’s life story really entails.
Boseman alongside a couple of others will be producing the film about the black samurai who migrated from Mozambique to Japan in 1579 as a slave.
