Estoril Open: Stefanos Tsitsipas claims third ATP title

Greek sensation, Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Pablo Cuevas 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) to win the Estoril Open, his first clay-court title and third on the ATP tour.

The 20-year-old top seed was in command against Cuevas, leading by a set and a break at 4-3, before running into trouble in the eighth game of the second set, as he lost nine successive points en route losing a service game for the first time.

Tsitsipas saved a set point in the tenth game before winning a tiebreak to claim his second title of the season.  

The Greek won his first title at Stockholm last October and won in Marseille earlier in February prior to winning the Estoril Open.

He has now risen to no 9 in the world rankings and is set to face either Joao Sousa or Adrian Mannarino in the second round of the Madrid Masters.
