Imo governor-elect to attend UN festival of action on sustainable development

All is set for the United Nations Global Festival of Action on Sustainable Development as the Imo state Governor-elect Chukwuemeka Nkem Ihedioha who is a special guest speaker will deliver a keynote address at the event.

This event is billed for today 2nd of May to 4th of May 2019 at the World Conference Centre in Bonn, Germany. 

This is according to his media aide Chibuike Onyeukwu, who disclosed this through a press statement to journalists in Owerri, the Imo state capital.

Mr. Onyeukwu also stated that the governor-elect in his pursuit to explore investment opportunities for the Imo state will engage strategic meetings aimed at seeking the cooperation of several development partners from all over the world that will grace the event.

“SDG Global Festival of Action is a ground-breaking event, positioned to gather and inspire SDGs campaigners and multi-stakeholder partners to scale up and enlarge the global movement to take action for the SDGs”.

“This event is said to bring together leaders from various governments, local authorities, international organizations, civil society, activists, young advocates, the creative industry and the private sector to measure up the impact of their work and strategize joint actions, whereas motivating new organizations and individuals to join the movement and take action for the SDGs”.
