In his only world title fight, Ruiz Jr suffered a razor-thin majority decision loss to Joseph Parker for the WBO belt in 2016.

The Mexican’s record stands at 32 victories from 33 fights, 21 coming in the way of knockouts while that of Anthony Joshua is 22 wins from as many fights with 21 knockouts.
