It rumored that a couple of movie directors and influential movie sages have remained lobbying for the removal of Johnny Depp, in playing the infamous villain Gellert Grindelwald of the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
This boycott stems from the point that Depp is still very much deep-rooted in the matters concerning the accusation of alleged abuse of his spouse and actor, Amber Heard.
However, the writer of the film Fantastic beats, J.K Rowling amongst a few other power moguls has stated support for Depp remaining a character in with the franchise.
This reveals there might still be a fighting chance for Depp, despite the fact that the premiered date has been released and is still yet to be approached for the renewal of the movie contract.
