The Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian Police has launched a space squad code ” Operation Puff Adder” in the state.
Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Ali Janga, stated this at the event to enforce the new security operation strategy introduced by the acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, in Bauchi State.
“Operation Puff Adder” is a new security operation strategy introduced by Adamu to tackle the rising spate criminal activities across the country.
In line with this, Bauchi State and other states of the federation have cued into the new security agenda.
The Command said the special operation would positively address the current rise in criminal activities in the state.
The special operation was led by the Commissioner of Police and some top officials to send a signal to criminal elements in Bauchi State that it would no longer be business as usual.
