Over 1000 homes in Quebec has been reportedly flooded which is the second of such occurrence within 3 years according to the CBC.
Most of its habitants were still in the process of rebuilding and recovering from the former floods before this fresh incidence.
Premier Francois Legault had said while touring the flooded areas on Sunday that residents may have to relocate from the area to avoid repairing the same homes over and over again due to climate change.
Canadian Armed Forces were dispatched to help local communities; roughly 200 troops arrived in Laval as the city faced rising waters along rivers and channels, CBC reported.

The Soldiers have been stacking up sandbags as a barrier along the shore’s edge to prevent the River from overflowing its Bank.
Forecasters are predicting no major precipitation for the rest of April in Quebec; giving residents hope that the worst of the flooding may be nearing its end.
