Djokovic converted six of ten break points as he dominated proceedings all through. Novak Djokovic next faces Russia’s 10th seed, Daniil Medvedev, who ousted Greek sensation, Stefanos Tsitsipas in three sets.
Meanwhile, world number two Rafael Nadal booked his place in the semifinal by dispatching Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. The Spaniard, who holds a record 33 Masters titles next faces Argentina’s Guido Pella.
