Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has officially declared his intention to run for a second term in office.
He made his intention known during a meeting with top government officials and All Progressives Congress, APC, key leaders at Government House, Lokoja.
Bello said he is seeking another four years to give him time to continue the good work his administration started.
The Speaker of the State House Of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole and the Chief of Staff to the Governor described the Governor’s declaration as a welcome development and a sign of better days ahead for the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Commissioners, and other top party members in the state were among those present at the meeting.
