Multi-National Troops Raid Boko-Haram, Kill 27 Terrorists

Troops of sector one of “Operation Lafia Dole”, in a joint clearance operation with the Cameroon Defence Force, over the weekend, had a fierce encounter with Boko Haram terrorists in Wulgo, Chikun-Gudu, and Bukar Maryam villages.

During the operation, 27 terrorists were killed while weapons and equipment were recovered from the insurgents.

These include five gun trucks, several motorcycles, rifles, grenades, and ammunition.

Army spokesman, Colonel Sagir Musa, said coordinated military operation is ongoing especially on the fringes of Gamboru – Ngala and surrounding areas to deal with the fleeing bandits running out from Multi-national Joint Task Force onslaught on their hideouts.

He said there was no casualty on the part of the Nigerian and Cameroonian Forces in the encounter.
