Kim Jong Un yesterday made an announcement through the State-run media that although he is open to a third summit with President Donald Trump, this year-end will mark a deadline for the United States to offer more agreeable terms for North Korea’s Denuclearisation.
Kim disclosed that although there is a certain level of importance on resolving problems through dialogue and negotiations, the current style of imposing demands doesn’t quite sit well with them and could possibly ruin the progress made so far.
Kim also added that although his personal relationship with U.S President Trump remains cordial enough to “exchange letters at anytime” North Korea’s economy can and will persevere through heavy international sanctions imposed over its nuclear weapons program and would not cave into a deal that is unfavourable.
