Massimiliano Allegri has dropped a strong hint that he could leave Juventus this summer. Allegri’s future has been the subject of speculations in recent times, having been linked with several top European clubs.
He held talks about his future with Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli last month but no official statement was given afterwards. After the draw against Ajax last night, Allegri was asked about his future once again and he said, “my future? A coach does not last forever.”
The Italian who has coached Juventus since 2014 has won 190 of his 263 games in charge of the Old Ladies, winning four Scudetti in as many years and can win a fifth this weekend, should Juventus beat SPAL.
