Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James has disclosed he will not play for Team USA at the FIBA World Cup taking place in China.

San Antonio Spurs’ coach, Greg Popovich will coach Team USA at this summer’s FIBA World Cup, with the absence of LeBron James a great omission.

With Los Angeles Lakers missing the playoffs this season, LeBron James’ own season ended last week following a groin injury which means he won’t play another NBA game until October.

James intends to use the FIBA World Cup period to train and film “Space Jam 2” which will be released in the summer of 2021.
