Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode has via his twitter profile expressed condolence over the passing of Pa. Hassan Fasinro, eulogising him as a founding father of Lagos State.
In a Press release, Ambode expressed how the now late fasinro was one of the founding fathers of the State as he was one of the main architects of Lagos.
Fasinro was a Senator in the Second Republic and first Clerk of Lagos City Council was aged 99 and poised to clock 100 by September reportedly passed away yesterday after an undisclosed illness.
The State Governor further commiserated with the family of the deceased and said the nation will further draw inspiration from the elder statesman’s life.
