Access Bank just yesterday completed its merger with Diamond Bank and has unveiled a new logo for the bank at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos on Sunday the 31st. The merger was first considered sometime in December and got approval from the CBN

The Merger is suposed to create a Stronger, Bigger and Better bank that will offer more to all its stakeholders.
According to Victor Etuokwu, The Executive for Personal Banking. The new logo will be featured across the 400 branches of the Bank starting today, April 1st, 2019.
The successful merger now has a workforce of 27,000 across its 592 branches. Etuokwu further emphasized the best of both banks would be infused to create a bank that will serve customers better.
On why the 2 Banks decided to merge, he responded that since the market was fast evolving, there was a need to create more value for the customers
