Senator Ahmed Lawan representing Yobe North, has kick started his campaign to vie for the position of the next Senate President.
Mr Lawan flagged off his campaign in Lagos, compelling his colleagues for support towards his ambition.
This is not the first time he would be contesting for the position.
He attempted the position in 2015, where he was defeated by the current Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
