The ongoing rift between defunct group member, Tuface Idibia and Blackface, has been ongoing for more than a decade, and earlier this week Blackface released a hate track titled “War” which was directed at his rival Tuface in which he levelled allegations against the singer and questioning his sexuality.
Blackface had an extensive interview with a media outlet a few hours before a ruling was served on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the State High Court Ikeja on the preliminary objection case following a 50million Naira defamation lawsuit served by 2face and Efe Omorogbe his manager.
Expressing his frustration, Black Face disclosed he has given his conditions to end the war.
According to the singer, “let somebody love you” one of 2face’s smash hits featuring international superstar Kelly Bridgett is his song and all he wants is for Efe Omorogbe’s name be taken out as a co-composer, which he claims is a plot to cut down the percentage he is supposed to earn from the song’s royalties.
In conclusion, Blackface stated that the fight is bigger than him, as he isn’t fighting just for himself, but also the future of the Nigerian Music Industry.
