A Popular Nigerian gay man, Jide Macaulay is about to be ordained an Anglican Priest.
Jide who absconded from Nigeria following his gender status will be ordained in the Church of England in June, that is about three months from now.
Sharing the news of his ordination as an Anglican priest, the 53-year-old wrote: “It is a delight to share this news, I am to be ordained Anglican Priest in the Church of England in June 2019.
“Wait on the Lord, be of Good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord” Psalm 27:14”
