The seventh annual induction class of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame has been unveiled with boxing legends, Bernard Hopkins and Juan Manuel Marquez nominated in the non-Nevada resident category.
Hopkins is a former middleweight and light heavyweight world champion while Marquez claimed titles in four-weight classes from the featherweight to the junior welterweight.
The induction ceremony will have five inductees in the non-boxer category, which includes Floyd Mayweather Sr, who trained Floyd Mayweather Jr for the better part of Money Mayweather’s career.
The induction ceremony for the 2019 16-member class will take place in August at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas.
