Barcelona’s striker, Luis Suarez, has been ruled out for fifteen days due to an ankle injury.
The Uruguayan scored a superb solo goal during the 4-1 rout of Real Betis but hobbled off in the final minutes of the match.
An injury assessment by Barcelona’s medical team confirmed Suarez will miss between ten to fifteen days of action. The injury rules him out of Uruguay’s match against Uzbekistan.
Luis Suarez is expected to be fit for his side’s UCL quarter-final first leg match against Manchester United.
He has scored 21 goals for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
