The Allied Peoples Movement has rejected the ongoing election results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
APM Campaign Director General, Sarafa Ishola said the election began peacefully on Saturday, but was allegedly hijacked by hoodlums and “unidentified uniformed men” during the collation stage.
He added that the results of the election were manipulated in favour of APC.
Dr Ishola had petitioned INEC in the state to investigate the “infractions” and stop announcement of results forthwith, expressing concern that, despite the complaints, the INEC has started announcing the results.
Ishola said the APM rejects the results as being announced, declaring that “it was hijacked, compromised and did not reflect the wishes of Ogun people.”
