Reports have it that AS Roma football club have parted ways with its Sporting Director, Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo less than 24hrs when the club manager Eusebio Di Francesco was fired.
This was confirmed by a statement released on the club’s official website read. The Spanish transfer guru has been a target of both Arsenal and Manchester United; two clubs seeking an appointment for a director of football.
If he joins Arsenal, he will be reunited with former colleague Unai Emery; whom he worked alongside in their infamous stint with Sevilla, where he represented the club as a player, the latter spending 17 years as Sporting Director before joining the Giallorossi in 2017.
