Australian maverick, Nick Kyrgios has committed to playing the Queen’s Club Championship this summer as a tune-up event to Wimbledon.
Kyrgios made the semi-finals at the Queen’s last summer and will hope to go two steps better this summer.
Having claimed the scalps of Rafael Nadal, Stanislas Wawrinka, John Isner and Alexander Zverev en route claiming the Acapulco title last week, Kyrgios is in electric form and will hope to transcend that into the grand slams.
The 23-year old joins defending champion Marin Cilic, Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas and Britain’s Kyle Edmund in signing up for the tournament.
