Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out for eight weeks due to
Chilean national team doctor, Pedro Onate disclosed the forward suffered ‘medial ligament distension’ in his right knee.
Sanchez sustained the injury during United’s dramatic 3-2 win over Southampton at the weekend.
He has been plagued with injuries this season, having only returned from Chile in December after recovering from a hamstring problem.
Sanchez is set to miss United’s UCL second leg clash against PSG as well as possibly missing eight of United’s last nine league matches.
