Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike has denied claims by the Nigerian Army, Six Division that he made advances to bribe the Army for the purposes of the elections.
The Army played a recorded phone call suggesting Gov. Wike’s attempt to bribe army officers to rig the elections in his state in favor of the PDP.
Meanwhile, the governor has reacted, calling it an effort to carry out a coup on his administration.
