The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has announced new commencement dates for the first phase of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.
It has been scheduled to commence on the 24th of April and the body said the shift in start dates was necessitated by a clash in dates with the Intercontinental IHF Challenge Trophy.
The Intercontinental IHF Challenge Trophy was billed for Kosovo from April 10 to April 14, 2019.
New Dates April 24th: Arrival April 25th to 3rd May: Competition Proper May 4th: Departure.
The league which is in its second season is the product of a 5-year partnership between the HFN and Prudential Energy.
Niger United and Plateau Peacocks emerged winners in the male and female categories in 2018 carting away N1million in prize money respectively.
