The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has joined in reacting to the postponement of the country’s general elections.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, appealed to all Nigerians to put the incident behind them and go out en masse to vote.
Labour said it hopes that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, would on no account ever again allow such incident to reoccur.
Also reacting, the President General of the Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, in a press release personally signed by him, said he is aware of the immense hardship the sudden postponement of the election has brought on all Igbo sons and daughters.
The President General, however, said it is one of the prices the people need to pay to get their desired independence.
