The All Progressives Congress, APC, says the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, must be open to the general public on its plan for the postponed election on Saturday and subsequent process.

The Director of Election Planning and Monitoring and Minister for Works, Power, and Housing, Babatunde Fashola gave the charge in Abuja after the directorate’s meeting to deliberate on the postponed election, said INEC must let the people know its plan on a daily basis in order to return confidence to the general public.

Fashola alleged that unfolding events have proven that the opposition party was privy to the postponement.

He said the All Progressives Congress, APC, empathized with Nigerians for the economic loss due to the postponement.
