Emiliano Sala search: Air Accidents Investigation Branch attempting to recover body in aircraft

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have confirmed they are attempting to recover the unidentified body found in the wreckage of the plane carrying Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson.

The wreckage of the Piper Malibu aircraft carrying the duo was found at the bottom of the English Channel on Sunday morning with the body of an occupant visible in it.

The AAIB however stated that strong tidal conditions are hampering the operation to evacuate the body and it will also consider the feasibility of recovering the aircraft wreckage.
