There are reports that Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has concluded arrangements to present the 2019 budget before members of the Lagos State House of Assembly in Ikeja today.
The governor who was denied a second term ticket by the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been at loggerheads with the House of Assembly.
Members of the Assembly had accused the governor of gross misconduct and spending before budget approval, an offence that reportedly led to his planned impeachment
It however reportedly took the intervention of a former governor of the state and a National leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu who met with the Governor Advisory Committee (GAC) on Sunday, to rescue the governor from being impeached.
