The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the
rescheduling of the Finals for the 2019 African Nations Cup slated to
hold in Egypt.
This decision is reportedly taken to allow
players rest after the observation of the Ramadan by the Muslims which
is likely to hold between May 5 and June 4.
According to media
reports, the date rescheduling was called for by the Muslim North
African Nations including Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria.
The AFCON 2019 tournament is billed to kick-off between June 21 and July 19.
