A group of lawyers under the aegis of Coalition of Lawyers Against Corruption in Nigeria (COLAC), has vowed not to allow President Muhammadu Buhari have his way in the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Walter Onnoghen.

The group, which noted that Buhari has crossed his boundaries and must be brought to order, gave him seven days to reverse the suspension else they will do the needful.

Different reactions have continued to pour in since the suspension of the CJN, Walter Onnoghen on Friday evening, by President Buhari on the claim of an order by the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT and immediately replacing him with Justice Tanko Mohammed as acting CJN.

Joining in the growing number of Nigerians and groups condemning the action, COLAC said by this singular act, Buhari has shown that he does not have any regard for the Supreme law of the land which is the constitution.
