Roger Stone, a close confidant of U.S President, Donald Trump has been arrested in connection to the Mueller case by the Federal Grand Jury. Stone was arrested on a seven-count indictment by the FBI at his residence.
Stone is allegedly linked to the release of materials that incriminated Hilary Clinton. The charges against Stone include witness tampering, obstruction and false statement amongst others.
Roger Stone is the 34th person linked to Trump’s Mueller Investigation, and the 6th aide involved. He had previously berated the Mueller investigation and labelled it as a ‘Witch Hunt’.
