The Igbo community in Kano State has honoured Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for the relative peace being enjoyed in the state.
The Governor was recently conferred with a chieftaincy title of Agunaechamba of Igbo land.
Igbo traders and entrepreneurs are an integral part of Kano business community.
President General of Igbo Community Association, Ebenezer Chima, said Governor Ganduje deserves the honour for his proactive security measures in making Kano not only peaceful but also conducive for businesses to thrive.
Governor Ganduje said he is humbled by the gesture and will strive to see that Kano remains the most peaceful state in Nigeria
