The senatorial candidate of the PDP for Ekiti Central, Obafemi Adewale, condemned this action while speaking with journalists in Ado-Ekiti as he accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of intimidating the opposition.
In a swift reaction, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode, denied the allegations stating that the government has provided a level-playing ground for all political parties.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, visited the state on January 21 in furtherance of the Tradermoni Scheme and was preceded by destruction of posters and billboards belonging to the PDP.
