Frenkie de Jong to join Barcelona from Ajax in July

Barcelona has confirmed that Ajax influential midfielder, Frenkie de Jong will move to the Nou Camp in the summer on a five-year deal.

The 21-year old will join the Catalans for a fee within the region of £65m, with a further £9.5m in add-ons.

He has scored four goals in 16 league matches this season for Ajax. Frenkie de Jong is Barcelona’s third signing, after Kevin-Prince Boateng who was snapped on a six-month loan deal from Sassuolo and defender Jeison Murillo who also joined on loan from Valencia.
