Weather forecasts have warned of unstable weather conditions since
Wednesday and urged citizens to remain indoors as much as possible to
avoid unnecessary exposure to the sandstorm.

Commuters have also been advised to avoid speeding due to the dwindling visibility
Places
such as Cairo have the skies now a filtered orange. Despite being
surrounded on all sides by deserts, sandstorms are few and far between
in Egypt and only occur once in a blue moon.
Experts have however predicted that a rainfall is not too far away and hopefully this may reduce the effects of the sandstorm.
