Las Vegas police have issued a warrant for the DNA of Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo. This follows the accusation by a Kathryn Mayorca who said he raped her in Las Vegas in 2009.
Since the allegations last year, Ronaldo maintained his innocence and insisted that what he had with the lady was consensual.
The police need the Juventus player’s DNA to see if it matches that found on the dress Kathryn Mayorca wore that night.
Wall Street Journal claims authorities have sent a warrant to the Italian courts in the hopes of being allowed to carry out the procedure.
