In a bid to minimize loss-making vehicle lines, the mnaagement of Ford Motors in Europe has decided to exit the multivan segment, and combine the headquarters of Ford U.K and Ford Credit to a site in Dunton Essex.
This will lead to job cuts for the company, though Steven Armstrong, the Groups’ Vice President Europe has not yet quantified the scale. He however disclosed in a statement as below:
“Ford aims to achieve the labor cost reductions as far as possible through voluntary employee separations in Europe,” the carmaker said in a statement on Thursday.
