Labour Reacts To Buhari Wage Committee

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has reacted to the 24-man committee on minimum wage implementation saying it is an internal arrangement of the Federal Government. 

NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, said since the government has decided to set up a committee on minimum wage implementation to appraise the economic implications of a new minimum wage, labour is less boarded. 

President Buhari said the committee is to ensure that the country does not incur more debt in the process of implementing a new National Minimum Wage.
