The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State has raised an alarm over the intention of some South West politicians to take over the governance of the state in the coming elections.

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, raised the alarm during the official flag-off of the PDP campaign in Kwara State.

Saraki urged the people of the state to resist every attempt by opposition parties to change the tradition, culture, and history of Kwara.

In the same vein, the Director-General, Kwara PDP Campaign Team, Abubakar Suleiman, implored the people of the state to be mindful of those they cast their votes for, as the 16 years of the PDP was better than the three and half years of the All Progressives Congress.

The State Chairman of PDP, Kola Shittu, appealed to the people to get their Permanent Voter Cards as the 2019 general elections would not be business as usual.
