A three-man inspection team of the World Anti-Doping Agency will gain access to the Moscow’s laboratory on Wednesday, the 9th of January.
The WADA experts will look to extract testing data from the Moscow laboratory that could lead to the prosecution of hundreds of drugs cheats.
WADA’s inspection team had been denied full access to data when it visited the Moscow laboratory in December, which resulted in 16 national anti-doping bodies and WADA’s athlete committee calling for Russia to be suspended again.
WADA’s compliance review committee will meet on Monday, the 14th of January to make a recommendation to WADA’s executive committee regards Russia’s suspension.
