The Golden Globes 2019 awards was held last night in Los Angeles and one of the
Christian Bale, a Welsh-born thespian who won the Golden Globe for best actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy for his portrayal of former Vice President Dick Cheney in “Vice”, was straight with where he stands on the real-life subject in his acceptance.

“Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for playing this role,” he said about his character of Dick Cheney in the political satire.
The Church of Satan which was all up in its mood over the acceptance speech from Christian Bale, wrote on Twitter;
“To us, Satan is a symbol of pride, liberty and individualism, and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential. .
.
As Mr. Bale’s own talent and skill won him the award, this is fitting. Hail Christian! Hail Satan!”
