Tension remain high as Congolese await results of the presidential elections on Monday,a day after the electoral commission, CENI, said it would delay the publication until it had consolidated all the votes it is receiving from the polling stations.
Sunday the 6th was the deadline for the publication of provisional results, but the commission had received only 50 percent of vote tally sheets and it was not yet clear when the results would be ready.
The delay is the latest setback in a poll to pick a successor to President Joseph Kabila
