Chelsea sign Christain Pulisic, send him back to Dortmund on loan

Chelsea have made its first signing of the Winter transfer window by securing the services of highly rated Christian Pulisic for £57.6m from Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea has immediately loaned back the American to the German club for the remainder of the season. 

The 20-year old was chased by a couple of English clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool due to his struggles for playing minutes this season due to the emergence of Jadon Sancho. He is the fourth signing made by Maurizio Sarri after Kepa Arrizabalaga, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.

Pulisic played 114 games for Dortmund since breaking into the first team during the 2015/2016 season, scoring 15 goals and has 23 caps for the United States.
