The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has condemned the invasion of the residence of its Presidential Campaign Director on Civil Society, Dino Melaye in Abuja on Friday.
A statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodinyan, demand that the invading security officials vacate the premises of Melaye.
Ologbodinyan described the invasion as part of the larger machination by the Buhari presidency to use state apparatus of power to intimidate and clamp down on the opposition in a bid to create fear and subjugate the opposition ahead of the 2019 general election.
